The Spread of Christianity in the Roman Empire.
When Christianity started to spread back in the Roman Empire it was not an easy time for Christians. The Roman Empire heavily persecuted the Christians and did not want Christianity to spread. However Christianity spread quite rapidly and successfully, how? The people had new news of a savior who saved them and was of their social class and loved them all personally. Before Christianity there were Jews who were waiting on the Savior and also those who did not know a God on a personal relationship level. Once Jesus came along the Jews were expecting him and then followed him and spread the word. The other people felt saved and loved for the first time and liked this religion because Jesus was of their class and they did not have to be rich. Through all of the persecution and hard times people still came to God and I believe that it was a part of his plan and that through hard times God will still help people get through.
